Day 1


Your guide will meet you at Banjarmasin's Samsudi Noor airport and transfer you to your hotel - either the Arum Hotel or the Barito Hotel (both 3 star). The remainder of the day at leisure. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2


After breakfast at the hotel, you will transfer to Loksado, Kandangan. En route, you will stop at Maratapura to visit the Banjar people. You will be able to see how they mine for diamonds, and also watch them polish the stones. You will also have time for a bit of diamond shopping. Continue the trip to Loksado. Stop in Kandangan for lunch in a local restaurant. In Loksado, visit the hot spring and if time permits, take a swim in the warm pool. Check in at the Amandit Resort for the night. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 3


After breakfast, you will make a short trek to visit the longhouse of the Dayak at Loksado. Observe the daily life of the village, as well as the sienement plantation and waterfall.

Your rafting trip on the Amandit River now begins. You begin in Loksado and head down the river to Muara Hatip, or alternatively, depending on water levels, from Muara Hatip to Mawangi. The trip normally takes about 3 to 4 hours on the bamboo raft.

From the end of the rafting, transfer by road back to Banjarmasin and check into your hotel. Dinner at a Local restaurant.

Day 4


Have an early breakfast at hotel, then take a trip to the famous floating markets held on the Barito River. Here you will be able to see the way of life of the Banjar people, paddling their canoes from one boat to another to sell their merchandise and vegetables.

From the markets, continue on to Monkey Island, then return to your hotel. Free at leisure until your transfer to the airport for your flight to the next destination.
