Pinnacles Trek

Duration - 3 Days/2 Nights

Day 1

After you arrive at Mulu airport on a morning flight, you will be met by your guide and proceed upriver to Long Litut which is about one hour away. Make a stop for lunch, then begin trekking to camp 5, about 2.5 to 3 hours walk, through a mixed dipterocarp and riparian forest. Overnight at Camp 5. (Lunch and Dinner included)

Day 2

Following breakfast, begin your climb of Gunung Api heading towards the limestone Pinnacles. The climb is very challenging and taxing and will take about 4-5 hours. Arrive at the Pinnacles' view-point in time for a packed picnic lunch. After lunch, descend back to Camp 5. Overnight at Camp 5. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included)

Day 3

Depart Camp 5 in the morning. Trek to Long Litut. Proceed downstream (to the Wind Cave and Clearwater Cave). After lunch, transfer to Mulu airport for flight to Miri or Kota Kinabalu (depending on flight schedules). (Breakfast, and Lunch included)

Note that this tour can be combined with a trip to Mulu National Park to visit the caves with accommodation at Royal Mulu Resort. Day 1 would depart from Royal Mulu Resort and Day 3 would see you return to Royal Mulu Resort
