Day 1

Depart Kuching early morning by 4 x 4 vehicle to Tuba Longhouse which will see half the journey taken through hilly, gravel roads. The 4-hour journey from Kuching will pass the market town of Serian and also several rubber, cocoa, and pepper plantations. Upon arrival at Tuba longhouse, be the guest of the village chief (tuai rumah) and enjoy lunch at the longhouse.

In the afternoon proceed on a boat trip in search of wildlife. Monkeys, Hornbills and various other kinds of birds are often seen in this area. Return to Tuba longhouse in the early evening. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the longhouse. [includes lunch and dinner]

Day 2

After breakfast, visit the local school and the surrounding area before bidding farewell to your host. Proceed to Serian, and continue overland directly to Kuching. Lunch enroute. Transfer to airport or your hotel in Kuching. [includes breakfast and lunch]
