Mulu Marriott Resort & Spa

Mulu Marriott Resort & Spa must be seen to believed. It is the only luxury resort located in the tropical jungle setting of Mt Mulu near the caves. The resort is built on 3 metre high piers and designed in the style of the longhouses, linked by timber walkways. The Melinau River wraps around the resort like a moat. Mulu Marriott Resort & Spa is an international class nature destination, offering the best combination of "resort experience", nature and comfort. The Resort is located near the Gunung Mulu National Park, home of lush rainforest and some of the most amazing cave systems in the world.

All guest rooms have rich parquet floorings with private bath and shower, mini-bar, individually controlled air-conditioning, standard amenities, hot and cold showers. The Resort has its own water treatment plant, which supplies all guest rooms with clean and safe water. Every room enjoys a spacious verandah, which offers guests a stunning view of either the rich surrounding jungle or the Melinau River.

Children are well catered for in the resort with special activities, including a monkey tour through the local forest. From the resort, the caves are reached by longboat (Wind and Clearwater Caves) or timber boardwalk (Langs Cave and Deer Cave).

One of the best ways to appreciate Gunung Mulu National Park's diversity is by experiencing the Canopy Walk. It is said to be the longest tree-to-tree skywalk in the world at 480 m. It links 15 trees together via pillared platforms, and is suspended approximately 30 m above the forest floor. The canopy walk provides a breathtaking view of the world's oldest rainforests and its inhabitants, and is easily accessible from the Mulu Marriott Resort & Spa.
