Orang-utan Day Trip

Duration - Full day

You will be met at the airport (or your accommodation in Sandakan) and transferred to Sepilok Orang-utan Rehabilitation Centre for for an audio visual presentation in the theatrette. Walk ten minutes through the rainforest on timber boardwalks to witness the feeding of the orang-utans at 10.00hrs. You will have plenty of time to watch the orang-utans until they disappear back into the jungle.

Return to Sandakan for lunch - possibly at the English Tea House (subject to schedule change), and then proceed on a tour of Sandakan, including the Australian War Memorial and Agnes Keith's House.

Australian War Memorial - POW Camp

Transfer to airport for late afternoon flight to Kota Kinabalu. (Lunch included, and also return hotel transfers - within Kota Kinabalu city area - if coming from KK as a day trip.)
