SABAH TOURS
Padas River White Water Rafting
Tour Code: KKA2Duration - Full Day
Due to railway maintenance, the train is no longer running from Beaufort to Pangi. We are, however, able to get you to Pangi to start the rafting.
Pick up from hotel and transfer by coach to Tenom. Arrive at Tenom and proceed to a village near Pangi, where
you will get changed and prepare yourself for a fun filled, thrilling ride, up to Pangi, taking the railcar -
using only a strong, wide, timber platform fixed with ball bearing wheels.
It is a nice fast ride, and feels like taking a roller coaster through the forest along the bank of the river. The trip will take about an hour.
After suiting up and a safety briefing by the guide, the 30km white water rafting trip, making it the longest rafting journey in Borneo, begins. After the 9th kilometre of rafting, which covers seven class 3 and 4 rapids, you will make a quick stop for a sumptuous lunch at Rayoh Station before continuing the rafting journey through the majestic rainforests of Borneo. The finishing point is at Halogilat. From there, take boat to the township of Beaufort. Freshen up and board the coach for the 1 hour trip back to your hotel in KK. (Lunch)
Bring along swim-suits, shoes with rubber soles, extra dry clothes and no valuables. Life jackets and helmets are provided. All participants are required to sign liability release form and a certificate is issued at the end of the tour.
Includes: Life jackets and helmets.
