North Borneo Safari Tour

Duration - 2 days/1 night

Day 1

Early morning pick up from your hotel, for a 2.5 hour road trip to Kudat, the land of the last longhouses in Sabah. After lunch, set off on your journey to the "Tip of Borneo". Witness the picturesque view of South China Sea meeting Sulu Sea.

Proceed to your overnight guesthouse for check in. If weather permits, cycle (optional) through scenic villages, oil palm estates and farms to Mompilis Village Longhouse. Enjoy a fresh coconut drink and observe cultural activities while mingling with the friendly local folks and children.

Return to longhouse homestay for shower. Enjoy a traditional-style dinner followed by colourful cultural performance by the local Rungus community. Overnight in twin share room. Mattress and mosquito net are provided. (Lunch and Dinner included)

Day 2

Wake up to the calls of roosters and enjoy the tranquility of the village. Take your breakfast before setting off on a walk to the nearby rubber estate. Have a go at at rubber tapping.

Return to Kota Kinabalu with lunch en route. (Breakfast and Lunch included)

NOTE This tour may be varied by substituting accommodation at the Kudat Golf and Marina Resort. You may also like to consider an additional day (at leisure) in Kudat before heading back to KK.
