The hotel has 120 spacious guest rooms and suites, with a homely atmosphere. Each room is equipped with all the latest comforts including a colour TV with in room movie channel, built in mini bar refrigerator, IDD phones. For added privacy, two floors are allocated to the Renaissance Club. Guests may enjoy complimentary breakfasts and happy hour drinks, and the lounge offers newspapers and books and a separate small board room for business meetings.
In April 2009, the Sabah Hotel introduced its new accommodation wing - the 'Borneo Wing'. The new wing features 19 units of Superior rooms (3 King bed rooms and 16 Twin bed rooms) and 1 Junior Suite (king bed).
The Borneo Wing rooms are perfect for tourists who have a slightly lower budget - you will be staying in a 4 star hotel, with the full range of facilities, but only paying a lot less.
General
The hotel offers a fully equipped Business centre with full secretarial services and telecommunication support, in addition to audio visual equipment and banqueting rooms. The hotel has a sports and fitness club, a fully equipped gym, outdoor tennis and squash courts, a jogging track, free form swimming pool fed by a beautiful waterfall, spa steam baths and a sauna. Golfing arrangements can be made at the nearby Sandakan Golf Club. This is the only international class hotel in Sandakan.
The fully-equipped Business Centre enables you to keep pace with Sandakan's economic trends and global business updates. Secretarial services
and telecommunication support are also provided. Seminar packages complete with multi, system audio visual can be arranged. Banquets and receptions
for up to 500 can be held in the Ballroom.
