Day 1

AIRPORT - LOA JANAN - MAHAKAM RIVER

You will be met on arrival at Balikpapan's Sepinggan airport, and transfer immediately to Loa Janan on the lower Mahakam River, where you will board a comfortable house boat for exciting tour on the Mahakam River which is like a multi- lane highway to the interior of Kalimantan, complete with many riverside towns and floating road houses.

Full board while on the boat.

Day 2

MUARA ANCALONG - KEDANG KEPALA RIVER

Head up the Kedang Kepala River, which is the fourth longest river in East Kalimantan. En route, stop at Muara Ancalong, where you will be able to observe the the Kenyah Dayak people going about their daily life. Various handicrafts are also available for purchase. Travel further up the river to Muara Wahau. Meals and overnight on boat.

Day 3

LONG NORAN - LONG SEGAR - MUARA WAHAU - NEHES LIANG BING

Breakfast on boat before continuing further up the river, stopping along the way at the villages of Long Noran and Long Segar which are villages of the Kenyah Dayak tribe. You will be able to observe the people going about their daily routine. A welcome ceremony dance will also be performed. You will be served meals at a local house.

Travel on to Liang Bing, where you will be welcomed with a performance by people of the Modang Dayak tribe. You will also have a good opportunity to observing the way life of the people in village. Overnight at local house. Meals are provided.

Day 4

NEHES - LIANG BING - LONG NORAN

Breakfast at local house then down river to Long Noran. A visit will be made to the village of Long Merah village en route for some sight seeing. This is an area of the Punan tribe. On arrival at Long Noran the Kenyah Dayak will be perform dances for you. Meals and overnight on boat.

Day 5

LONG NORAN - KEDANG KEPALA RIVER - TENGGARONG

Breakfast on boat then head down the river towards Tenggarong. Meals and overnight on boat.

Day 6

TENGGARONG - LOA JANAN - BALIKPAPAN

Breakfast on your boat prior to visiting the royal cemetery, Museum of Kutai Kertanegara and the remains of the Sultans Palace which is now the State Museum of Mulawarman at the Kutai centre of Tenggarong, which was once the seat of the Kutai sultinate. Afterwards, you will return to the boat and head further down the river to Loa Janan. After lunch, transfer to Balikpapan where you will spend the night at either Bahana Surya Hotel or Benakutai Hotel (both 4 star).

Lunch provide on the boat, dinner at local restaurant.

Day 7

HOTEL - AIRPORT

Breakfast at hotel, morning at leisure, until transfer to the airport for your next destination.
