Kalimantan forms the largest part of the island of Borneo is divided into four main regions:
- South Kalimantan (Kalimantan Selatan)
- West Kalimantan (Kalimantan Barat)
- East Kalimantan (Kalimantan Timur) and
- Central Kalimantan (Kalimantan Tengah - often referred to as Kalteng)
