Morning departure from your hotel for q short drive to the suburbs of Kota Kinabalu, to the home of a local caterer, and then a trip to the local market with the matriarch or master of the house to get your fresh groceries, before returning to get yourself busy with cooking ‘Borneo style’.
What makes this tour interesting is the fact that your lunch would be what you cooked during the class. The menu would be a set of locally prized dishes.
Transfer back to Tanjung Aru Resort after your lunch has been completed.

Depart early morning for a 2.5 hour journey to Kudat, the land of the last longhouses in Sabah. After lunch, we set off our journey to Tanjung Sempang Mengayau, on the Kudat peninsula, which is the "Northern Tip of Borneo". Witness the picturesque view of South China Sea meeting the Sulu Sea.
Return to longhouse homestay for shower. Enjoy a traditional-style dinner followed by colourful cultural performance by the local Rungus community. Overnight in twin share room. Mattress and mosquito net are provided. (BLD)
Wake up to the calls of roosters and enjoy the tranquility of the village. Take your breakfast before we trek to the nearby rubber estate. Test your skill at rubber tapping. Return to Kota Kinabalu with lunch en route. You will be transferred to the Rasa Ria Resort for the remainder of your stay. (BL)
