SCUBA DIVING IN BORNEO
BORNEO DIVERS MABUL RESORT
Borneo Divers Mabul Resort lies at the heart of Mabul Island, a former fishing village now famous for its exotic, diverse marine life and internationally renowned dive spots. Located off the South Eastern coast of Sabah, Mabul is 15km away (less than 20 minutes by speedboat) from the world famous dive site of Pulau Sipadan, hailed by Jacques Cousteau as "an untouched piece of art".
As Borneo's first full service professional dive operation, Borneo Divers is one of the pioneers which introduced the pristine splendours of Sipadan and Mabul to the world. With numerous previously undiscovered gorgeous dive sites just off the shores of Sabah, there is no better place to dip your toes into the world of diving and PADI accredited courses.
After a glorious day of sun, sea and diving, the cool, heavenly beds welcome your tired body for a restful night. Cocooned safely in one of the 30 tropical themed chalets, the symphony of waves from the Celebes Sea serenades you to a blissful slumber.
For those who love the solitude of the night and the company of stars, the private verandahs are the perfect spot to mull over the highlights of your day as you sip on a tall drink. Who knows, on one of those nights you might be lucky enough to catch a shooting star.
