Inside the Deer Cave - MuluInside the Deer Cave - Mulu
Mulu Caves - It goes without saying that any tour of Mulu should also include the popular tourist Caves - the Clearwater and Wind Caves, and the Deer and Lang Caves. The stalactites and stalagmites in the Lang Cave are some of the best to be found in Mulu National Park. The exodus of bats in search of food from the Deer Cave at sunset each evening makes a late afternoon visit to the Deer Cave a high priority on the list of "must do's". The entry to the Deer Cave is the largest of any cave in the world - St. Paul's Cathedral would fit comfortably under its archway. (Tour Code MZV1)

The visit to the Wind Cave necessitates a trip up the river by longboat. Clearwater Cave nearby is the home of a unique species of plant - the one leafed plant.
